Are you a beginner or returning player and would like to play big band music? Maybe you’re apprehensive about stepping into the world of jazz music and would like a safe space to explore the genre, or want a new challenge?
The Kris Nock Big Band is exploring the concept of starting a brand new band open to everyone of all abilities above the age of 18 to help cultivate the next era of jazz musicians!
For us to be able to get this off the ground, we need to ensure enough musicians are interested in joining to make it viable. The band would rehearse once a week in Staple Hill or surrounding areas through term times, with performances scheduled throughout the year.
If you would be interested in taking part in this new and exciting venture, please complete the form below to register your interest and sign up for updates!
Please note at this point we are unable to provide instruments to musicians but can assist you in sourcing instrumentation if required.
